Yup, that's right, we've got ourselves a blog! This is something we've been looking forward to for quite some time now and we are pretty excited about it. There are several reason's we decided to start the Wright USA Blog and a number of topics we hope to cover. But before we get into that, let us briefly introduce ourselves for any readers not familiar with Wright USA.
About US
Nearly half a century ago, former FBI Agent Frank Wright saw a need amongst Federal Employees. Having experienced firsthand many of the unique liability risks that federal employees face, Frank recognized that the level of liability protection available to Federal Employees was lacking. In response, Frank founded Wright USA (formerly known as Wright & Co.) and invented Federal Employee Professional Liability Insurance (FEPLI) along with several other insurance programs specifically designed for Federal Government Employees.
Fast forward roughly 50 years and here you have Wright USA, setting the standard for insurance programs for Federal Government Employees and still going strong as the largest Third Party Administrator (TPA) serving its market. It's been a great ride as we continue our mission to provide comprehensive benefits at low, affordable group rates to Federal Government Employees and their families and we expect the next 50 years to be even better.
Why We Are Blogging
Now you might be wondering why an insurance company serving Federal Government Employees would blog. The answer is simple, we blog because we want to serve Federal Employees, whether customers or not, and this blog is just one more way in which we can do that. We want this blog to be a place where Federal Government Employees can learn more about their unique insurance needs, find general tips for smart, safe, and healthy living, and read about what is going on in the Federal Government and the world of Federal Government employment.
What We Will Blog About
Insurance can seem complex at times and many Federal Government Employees might not have the time or energy to sort it all out. So we intend to provide helpful, simple, plain-English insights and information regarding various insurance products, needs, and intricacies. We also hope to keep our finger on the pulse of the Federal Government and Federal Government Employees so that we can address any news or current events coming out of those circles. Additionally, we plan to share helpful tips pertaining to Federal Employees for living, working, and planning well in life. Finally, we want to have fun. So don't be surprised if we share something completely unrelated yet entertaining (like a video of a baby monkey riding backwards on a pig).
